Football Weekend Packages in Alabama at Westervelt Lodge
On the heels of another BCS National Championship, there's no doubt SEC football will be bigger than ever this fall in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. That means available lodging - always in high demand - could be even more difficult to secure. Westervelt Lodge is a short 45-minute drive over scenic country roads from the University of Alabama campus. We've identified a unique solution we hope will make our current customers happy, and maybe even introduce us to some new faces.
Book a Friday - Sunday stay at Westervelt Lodge on home-game weekends in 2010 and enjoy the quiet comfort of our unique location in Aliceville. Begin your Saturday morning with a southern-style breakfast, then remove game day parking hassles by taking a private limousine service1 to our fully-stocked tailgate tent on The University of Alabama Quad. You'll return to the lodge after the game, then have a hearty breakfast on Sunday morning prior to your departure.
Our proximity to Mississippi State University in Starkville Mississippi makes this offer just as applicable to Bulldogs fans.
If the idea of wing-shooting and college football is appealing, the option2 of a plantation-style quail hunt is available after October 1. For larger parties, packages can include dove hunting on our private fields.
Game Day package cost - $250 per person for a private room, includes breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning, and tailgate tent hospitality at the University of Alabama Quad in Tuscaloosa. Minimum parties of 6 are preferred; inquire about our discount packages for couples.
